Pakistan is country,where electronic media is emerged as vibrant source of revolution in our society. It could have change our society & System in many way with positive attitudes. but slowly & gradually it seems to emerge with anti-state agenda representing our country's image from bad to worst abroad.
Geo TV or GEO Television is a Pakistani television network founded by Mir Shakil ur Rehman in May 2002. GEO TV belongs to Independent Media Corporation, owner of the Jang Group of Newspapers.
Since its inception, it is always been there to speak out against Pakistan government. It always tried to weaken the Pakistan Image abroad through its wide coverage. Though it is one of the Pakistan's mostly/widely watched channel through world,but it always outlines the Pakistan as a failed state. It has made closer ties with Bollywood Indian industries through their govt to show their movies in Pakistanis Cenima merely to influence their culture in our country. It always plays front line role while representing Pakistan as a: Failed state,extremist state & irresponsible state. It has been observed that it follows the pro-Indian & pro-American agenda,with objective that Pakistan is not responsible Atomic state.
Many of us will not agree with my notions regarding the GEO tv,as they think, electronic media is bringing wide cover revolution in our country.But I must say to those,is there any kind of electronic Media in world playing its role against its state ? I must Say, GEO TV must broadcast its transmission according to one of the autonomous body of our govt: known as PEMRA. instead GEO tv has declared its own protocols/rules/formations known as GEO-ASOOL with out consulting with its Pakistani govt.
I am sure,we as committed Pakistani, will never let GEO TV to do so against Pakistan,as we as nation achieved our beloved homeland through great sacrifices.

ReplyDeleteYou are right brother,we have got this land after facing alot of troubles but our leaders and media have forgotten their role in our country,their role in our country is useless.They should be sincere with our beloved country instead of being against.they are showing that our media is independent,If they ought follow other international channels policies of Bbc and Cnn,Then they would better understand,which role should be played in a country through journalism.
